Today’s Reading - John 4:27-38

Thought:

“Lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.” As Christians, we are all laborers in God’s fields. In some lives, we will sow seeds; in others, we will reap the fruit of the seeds sown by someone else. Maybe the important and greatest lesson to learn is that, in any life that we have contact with, we have the ability to influence and affect spiritually. We may not win everyone personally, but we might plant a seed that will later bear fruit that someone else will reap. Or we might reap the fruit of seeds that were planted years before by someone else. We must always be aware of our influence and be ready to work in whatever capacity we are called to fill. What a privilege and responsibility it is to be workers for God!
