Black text reading 'Jesus Is The Subject...' over a painted beige cross on a light beige background.

(Old Testament Prophecy - Psalm 22:16)

“My enemies surround me like a pack of dogs; an evil gang closes in on
me. They have pierced my hands and feet.”

(Fulfilled in Jesus - John 20:27)

“Then he said to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put
your hand into the wound in my side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!’”

Thought:
Even after Jesus came back to life, the punctures in His hands and the hole in
His side were visible. Thomas did not believe until he saw Jesus in person. Jesus went
on to say, “Blessed are all those who never see and yet they still believe.”

Prayer:
Lord, I confess that sometimes I am like Thomas with a lack of faith. But oh,
how this verse strengthens my faith seeing that the Holy Spirit revealed exactly what
would happen to You hundreds of years before it happened. Seeing how You
responded to Thomas helps me to know that You reach out in loving tenderness and
touch me with Your nail-pierced hand and ask me to leave faithlessness behind. Oh,
may mu un-nailed feet go where You lead me and my un-nailed hands reach out with
Your love and do what You want me to do. Amen
