(Old Testament Prophecy - Psalm 38:11)

“My loved ones and friends stay away, fearing my disease. Even my own
family stands at a distance.”
(Fulfilled in Jesus - Luke 23:49)

“But Jesus’ friends, including the women who had followed him from
Galilee, stood at a distance watching.”

Thought:
Knowing that Jesus took all the punishment due you and that you should be the
one receiving all the horrible punishment, do you still distance yourself from Jesus
when it’s not convenient or cool?

Prayer:
Father, truth be known, there are times that I deny You. It may not be outright
denial, but in my thoughts, I deny You when I have a lack of faith. Please erase my
unbelief and impart to me the courage to stand up for truth, to speak out in light of
Your truth, and most of all, to be a bold witness of Your love to a desperate and hurting
world. Amen.
