Today’s Reading - John 1:14-18

Thought:

It is a thought unlike any that has been dreamed by man — often thought of as preposterous or ridiculous. The very idea that God, in all of His power, wisdom, glory, and might would lay it all down and take on flesh. No god ever dreamed up by mankind would do such a thing. And yet, one of the great differences between God and any other mythical god devised by the mind of men is that God loves! He is not only the all-powerful, all-knowing, all-present creator of the universe, He is also a loving Father. Thus, His Son came into the world and took on flesh in order to show us God and to bring grace and truth to mankind. He came because He loved us!

How does Jesus coming into the world prove the love of God?
