Today’s Reading - Luke 1:26-38

Thought:

“For nothing will be impossible with God.” How can it be that Jesus would be conceived and born of a virgin? How can it be that Elizabeth, the mother of John, would bear a son in her old age, having been barren up to this point? The answer to these and any other questions concerning the birth, life, death, or resurrection of Christ is simply that nothing is impossible with God. Every aspect of the life of Christ, even the way in which He came into this world, demonstrates the power and ability of God. By that same power, God is still able to change our lives, answer our prayers, cleanse us of our sins, and help us to overcome our shortcomings and our pasts, for with God, nothing will be impossible.

Why is it important for us that God is all-powerful?
