CRUCIFIED WITH CRIMINALS

(Old Testament Prophecy - Isaiah 53:12)

“I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.”

(Fulfilled in Jesus - Mark 15:27)

“Two revolutionaries were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left.”

Thought:

Jesus allowed the Jewish leaders to make him an enemy of Rome and deserving of a common criminal’s death. But we are the common criminals, no better than the traitors on either side of Him, who deserve the death He accepted.

Prayer:

Dear Jesus, I know I am guilty and should have hung on the cross in Your place, but oh, how I sir humbly at Your feet weeping in gratitude for what You have done for me. May I live a life worthy of the redemption You extend to me. May I live a life fulfilling all Your purposes for me. May I love with Your love and share Your great love story! Amen.
