FALSE WITNESSES AT JESUS’ TRIAL

(Old Testament Prophecy - Psalm 35:11)

“Malicious witnesses testify against me. They accuse me of crimes I know nothing about.”

(Fulfilled in Jesus - Mark 14:56)

“Many false witnesses spoke against him, but they contradicted each other.”

Thought:

David may not have had answers to the questions asked by his enemies, but Jesus would choose not to address the false accusations at all.

Prayer:

Dear Jesus, I confess there have been times that I have distorted what You may have said in Your Word. Even if I had not distorted openly with my mouth, I have in my heart. Please increase my faith that daily I may walk by faith and not by sight. Thank You for being my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. For in You I find refuge. I pray that the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart will be pleasing to You. Amen.
