(Old Testament Prophecy - Psalm 109:25)

“I am a joke to people everywhere; when they see me they shake their
heads in scorn.”
(Fulfilled in Jesus - Matthew 27:39)

“The people passing by shouted abuse, shaking their heads in mockery.”

Thought:
While Jesus was born in a very quiet setting, His death was in a very public
space where hundreds of people were passing by. He endured being publicly
humiliated to give His life as a ransom for many!

Prayer:
Lord, are there times I mock You? Oh, how conviction sets in on my heart. I
wonder what You could accomplish through me if I had absolute and complete faith in
You and the resurrection power that You offer to me. Oh, dear Jesus, this journey is
tough, and sometimes I let the world influence my thoughts and actions. Please
continue Your redeeming work in my heart, mind and soul. Thank You for revealing Your
truth that sets me free. Amen.
