Test Video Archive

Some Notes:

The best way to set up a video archive is through our sermon management system combined with YouTube or Vimeo hosting.
For Sunday Sermons:
1. Create a Channel called "Sunday Sermons" in your dashboard under Sermons > Channels
2. Set up Series within that channel for organized groupings
3. Add individual sermons as Episodes with video, audio, speaker tags, and artwork
For Special Music:
Create a separate channel called "Special Music" following the same structure.
Video Hosting:
We don't do native video hosting - use YouTube or Vimeo for your videos, then link them to sermon entries. You can embed these videos on pages using YouTube or Vimeo links (not direct uploads) to maintain fast site speeds.
Display Options:
Add an Episode Block to any page to automatically show all your archived content in an organized, Netflix-style display. This creates a searchable, categorized archive that updates automatically as you add new content.

Below Are The Video Options

I have included several options to display video.

Vimeo Embed Code

Using a Custom HTML block, I entered the embed code copied from Vimeo.

This works fine for one video.

Using Vimeo Link Instead Of  Embed   Code

I added multiple videos to this video list block by link only. It seems to be embedding them automatically. This will work for one or multiple videos.

This is an Episodes Block as suggested by the above notes.

The power of using Episodes Blocks is the ability to archive and categorize the videos, while embedding them in our webpage

From the Dashboard, select Sermons to perform the following.

Before I created the following Episodes Blocks, I set up two channels:

Sunday Sermons

Special Music

Next I created four series:

In Christ Alone (pastors current sermon series)

Johnson Choir

Special Speakers

Musicians

Lastly I created a number of episodes.

Each episode is attached to a channel and a series. This gives us the opportunity to filter the Episodes Block to show what we want. This is how each block below is configured.

Here are the examples using Episodes Blocks

Special Speakers

Special Musicians

This is also an  Episodes Block. This block is set up to show only special musicians.

Johnson Church Choir

In this Episodes Block, the filters are set to only show the Johnson Church Choir.
